Position: Researcher I received the master degree in Physics in 1997 (Università degli Studi di Milano) and the master at Specialization School in Material Science and Technology in 2003 (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca). Between 2004 and 2010 I was a contract researcher at the Institute of Physics of Matter (INFM) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Milano. Since 2010 I am having a permanent position as a researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies (IFN) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Milano. My activity mainly regards materials physics, radiation physics, dosimetry and, in particular, the interaction of ionising radiation with solids. My specialisation, strictly correlated with these topics, is the Physics applied to Cultural Heritage. I’m co-author of more than 40 papers in international journals. My scientific activity, carried out at Dipartimento di Scienza dei Materiali, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, as IFN responsible of scientific convention between IFN and Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca (responsible Prof. M. Martini), deals with - Radiation effects in insulators and dosimetric materials - Development and application of techniques for Thermoluminescence Dating - Development of techniques and instrumentation for EDXRF analysis - Characterization of historical materials (pigments, ceramics, metals, glasses)
